Senators and Legislators have expressed a strong desire to strengthen the laws that protect a consumer’s rights in regards to insurance companies handling of claims. But your representatives need and want to hear from you, the consumer who has had a claim. Historically, insurance carriers have created roadblocks or shorted you on your claim over 90% of the time. (Insurance Company Tactics).
In most cases, these internal policies are designed to keep your claim money and violate either the law or your contract without your knowledge.
